Rhythm Bones Workshop with Kafari
Prior to his performance on Saturday evening, Kafari will offer a FREE rhythm bones workshop at MSA for teens & adults.
The bones are an amazing vehicle for exploring the infinite universe of rhythm! They're portable, affordable - about $20 a pair at @ensoulmusic where Kafari buys his bones - an excellent rhythmic accompaniment at jam sessions, and you can play along to anything, making discoveries about feel, pocket, time, phrasing, and the music of different cultures.
Recommended ages 13+

He will play piano music and beats for a 45-minute performance and interactive section exploring the bones. Following the concert, Kafari will offer a hands-on rhythm bones workshops for individual classrooms.
