Description

Moses and Kitch stand around on the corner – talking shit, passing the time, and hoping that maybe today will be different. As they dream of their promised land, a stranger wanders into their space with his own agenda and derails their plans. Emotional and lyrical, Pass Over crafts everyday profanities into poetic and humorous riffs, exposing the unquestionable human spirit of young men stuck in a cycle just looking for a way out.

A provocative riff on Waiting for Godot, Pass Over is a rare piece of politically charged theater by a bold new American voice.

Locally staffed and incubated, PTF offers cutting-edge performances in intimate and found spaces with the aim of promoting a more mindful, more compassionate, and more harmonized community in Maine.

SLIDING SCALE ADMISSION POLICY

No one will be turned away for lack of funds; contact PTF at info@portlandtheaterfestival.org for information on our sliding scale admission policy.

CANCELLATION POLICY

PTF has a no refund policy for all reservations. In the event that PTF is forced to cancel an event due to weather, illness, etc., refunds will be offered via the Ticket Tailor platform.

COVID-19 POLICY

PTF is committed to the safety of everyone involved with our events and will adhere to the existing Federal & Maine CDC guidelines during all phases of production. We anticipate mid-production changes to our COVID-19 policy in response to developments in the pandemic. All changes will be communicated via email via the platform on which they were purchased.

All patrons and staff attending events will need to show proof of full vaccination against COVID-19 or a negative test (administered by an authorized provider with your name included on the test) within the past 48 hours, along with a matching photo ID. Proof of vaccination can be your physical vaccine card/official record, or a photo of such documents. Proof of a negative test result can be physical or digital.

All audience members, staff, and volunteers will be asked to mask while not actively eating or drinking.

To allow our artists to perform unmasked, all cast and crew are tested at least twice weekly and within 48 hours of each performance.

Mayo Street Arts' facility will be cleaned and sanitized daily with additional sanitization of commonly touched surfaces between each activity. Additionally, MSA has multiple HEPA air filtration devices to filter the air in the space twice per hour.
