Brave Bucket Co.’s “Please Ship This Wet Gift”
Sat Jun 3, 2023 3:30 PM - 4:30 PM
Mayo Street Arts, 04101
Description
Please Ship This Wet Gift is one clown's presentation about terrible feelings, and provides an opportunity for family audiences to laugh together about feeling bad. Everyone can go home when she thinks you're prepared.
(because its better if you're prepared.)
(…and she'll be the guy who prepared you.)
This original work uses drawing, audience suggestions, made-up songs, puppetry, and cardboard sharks to explore dealing with the things in life that are unfair, scary, sad, and just really annoying.
This is Brave Bucket's second work for family audiences. The show melds clown theater with puppetry expertise to bring compassion and lightness to the heavy stuff.
Recommended for children ages 4+, and for adults who like awesome things.
Created and Performed by Marta Mozelle

ABOUT THE ARTIST
Brave Bucket Co. makes puppet theater for family & adult audiences that is playful, rooted in complex characters, and tells original stories. Their work has received support from the Jim Henson Foundation, and their members have worked in puppetry for over 10 years creating, performing, and teaching for fancy folks like Sesame Street, Banksy, and The New Victory Theater.
They believe children deserve theater that speaks to their full range of emotions, and adults deserve theater that speaks to their inner child. To this end, they use a wide range of puppetry and performance styles to further our storytelling, illuminate emotions, and have a lot of fun.
