Table Talks

'Table talks' is a series of interwoven vignettes that all take place around the same dining table. Spanning from 1933 to the present day, these short scenes depict over 60 characters—each offering a snapshot into the lives, struggles, and traditions of upper-middle-class families. As the scenes unfold, the play quietly reveals the gradual decline of traditional values such as formality, decorum, and familial duty. What was once a symbol of stability and unity, the dining room, becomes a nostalgic reminder of a world slipping away amid the currents of modern life. The result is a touching, often humorous reflection on identity, change, and the places we gather to remember who we are.
