Youth Halaqa & Iftar | Imam Bilal Yusuf

For our middle and high school girls & boys (ages 12 to 18), please join us on the first three Fridays in Ramadan for a program just for you: pray Asr in the congregation, listen to a special guest youth halaqa speaker and enjoy a yummy dinner for Iftar.

Stick around and pray Isha/Taraweeh at 9:15 p.m.

Please note that Iftar tickets are non-refundable. Once full, please get on the waitlist and if a spot opens up, we will email you.

MCC is a green masjid. Please bring your own water bottles to reduce the use of disposable cups.

Pre-halaqa attendance is required. Teens may not come for Iftar only.

• - Friday, March 15: 5:45 p.m. Asr prayer, check-in at 5:30 p.m., halaqa begins at 6 p.m. Maghrib at 7:19 p.m.

The schedule is:

5:30 p.m. - Registration + nametags
5:45 p.m. - Introduction
6 p.m. - Asr prayers
6:10 p.m. - Speaker gives talk
6:30 - Facilitated conversation + QnA
6:45 - Fun Game/Activity
7:00 - Maghreb Athan

Nominal $5/youth cost to have an accurate number of attendees. The nominal cost of tickets is to avoid food wastage. It does not cover the full expense of this event, so families interested in gaining the blessings of feeding the community during Ramadan are encouraged to donate to the event.
