Students, you are invited to Create and Connect with Community Engagement at our open house on April 9th!
Join us at 8 Mayfair to celebrate the end of Winter term with a fun, hands-on arts-based workshop, de-stress ahead of your exams, and connect with OCE Instructors, staff, and student ambassadors to learn more about our upcoming courses, and the Interdisciplinary minor in Community Engagement, including the CityLAB Semester-in-Residence.

1pm: arrive connect, grab a snack
1:30 - 3:00pm workshop and collage-making session
3 - 4pm: networking, informal Q&A about Community Engagement courses and minor, including the CityLab Semester-in-Residence
Workshop description:
The Power of Arts-Based Learning - Participants will hear and experience how visual art-based learning is vital to a variety of different career paths, beneficial to individuals’ well-being, and can help society build a better future. Observation, social/emotional learning and so many other skills are developed in the
Arts! As part of this workshop you will get to create, and take collage art home! Workshop spaces are limited.
This is a FREE event, including supplies and refreshments.
