Need help?
If you want to build more courageous cultures and bring more courage to your resilience as a leader, this workshop is for you.
Dare to Lead™ is research-based content and curriculum created by Brené Brown Ph.D., LICSW, that invites us all to be more courageous in our communities, our relationships, our families, and our workplaces.
This Dare to Lead™ cohort leadership workshop includes self-reflection, practical activities, dialogue, and short videos, on the four teachable, observable, and measurable courage skill sets:
- Rumbling with Vulnerability: Facing risk, uncertainty, and emotional exposure with courage and clarity, connecting with emotional literacy, shame, empathy, and psychological safety.
- Living into our Values: Identifying, operationalizing, and practicing the beliefs that we hold most important, and anchoring to our boundaries and generosity towards others.
- Braving Trust: Creating or deepening connections in relationships and teams based on the seven elements of trust, and then operationalizing that to behaviors and actions.
- Learning to Rise: Learning and growing from the failures, setbacks, and disappointments that are inevitable when we are brave with our lives and building a relationship with our stories and practicing honest and courageous feedback.
Workshop Details:
- Four weeks of Wednesday deep-dive virtual cohort sessions, 12:00pm - 3:00pm PT, and two individual 60-minute coaching sessions, scheduled separately.
- Full Cohort Dates are October 2,16, 23, 30
- Coaching sessions will be scheduled during and after the workshop to support full integration and operationalizing of the skill sets and tools.
- Count on gritty conversations, personal reflections, breakouts and larger engagement in the cohort to operationalize daring leadership skills.
- You'll receive a workbook and journal and one individual 60-minute coaching session one month after the workshop, to integrate your learning.
- The program requires approximately 45-60 minutes per week outside of the cohort gatherings to prepare for the upcoming session. Printed and/or electronic materials will be available and are accessible only to group members. I'll also provide plenty of (optional) resources for you to review if you are wanting to dig deeper on a particular topic.
- Those who complete the full program earn the designation of being Dare to Lead™ Trained and an online badge for LinkedIn that notes this training.
