MDBrunch is excited to gather Vocal Leaders for a "compact" and targeted day of learning AND singing joy!
Singers - your stream will follow the main music rehearsals and your carousel workshops will all be targeted at you as a group of singers!! We will direct you through the day. Get learning the arrangement now!!
#Compact will provide expert practitioners delivering focused workshops on frequently experienced rehearsal challenges, in a safe and supportive environment. We are proud to partner with phenomenal artists to provide a truly exciting day culminating in a mini performable mashup of 'Ain't Nobody' and 'Crazy in Love' with full staging that you can access with your own groups.
Quick Overview of the Day: a headliner movement workshop, 3 'fast dive' workshops in a carousel, a good length singing session which also incorporates movement to create a strong performance finale. We have also built in some time for some networking.

Workshop Leaders for the Day:
Omari Carter, dancer, lecturer, screendance revolutionary; after a long run with STOMP! has been a lecturer in dance but has really changed the world of dance-film through research and development between the UK and the US where he now lectures full time...
Christie Valeriano, is a world class voice coach, with exceptional training and vocal knowledge. After a career on stages around the world she is now a master trainer of vocal technique working with everyone from the 'The Masked Singer' to current west end leads.
Naveen Arles, founder of MDBrunch, brings music making to every environment he finds himself in. Prisons to executive corporate training, refugees to yr9 students, 16 voices to 800; Nav has been educating music making for 30 years around the world.

MDBrunch is a skills sharing, training, networking and support organisation for people who make singing happen (MDs). Through events we aim to both create a community for this often lonely profession and also promote the vital health and well-being work that we do for the communities around us and the impact our work has. Having grown over the last 6 years, MDBrunch now has a steering group led by Mel Field (Events Director) and Naveen Arles BCA (Founding Director). We are proud to now deliver vocal leader and teacher training around the world alongside, #MondayMornings (monthly online sessions), #Intensive (annual full weekend of vocal leader training and networking) and Choirs@TheTower Festival that we run annually in the Tower of London!
