Heriot-Watt MDes Graduation Showcase 2026

Each year we celebrate our Masters of Design Students at Heriot-Watt University by giving them a special space to show off what the final project they've been working on over the summer! Are you a hobbyist, an industry pro, or just generally interested in games? Why not come join us to play some new games and show your support for new, exciting creative minds breaking into the games industry!

We'll have our student's games, exciting new things from local developers, and perhaps even some nibbles. What's not to like? Plus, the event is totally free for anyone to attend!

There will be six dissertation games from our talented students and we'll also be showing the following games/art/experiments by the following talented local developers (with perhaps more to come):

College Fun Games will be showing Less Miserables

Rao Dao Zao will be showing Exon
Portponky will be showing his physical game Puzzle Tracks
Socks Off Games will be showing Turbo 16
Thinky Games will be showing Thinky Dailies
