Summer Sounds in aid of Meadows Foodbank and Pantry

Join us for an afternoon of laid back summer sounds played by local bands.

What to expect: Local bands, laid-back summer atmosphere, drinks and nibbles available.

Cause: All proceeds and donations will support the Meadows Foodbank & Pantry Christmas Choice Project.

All proceeds from ticket sales and donations will go towards supporting the Meadows Foodbank & Pantry’s Christmas Choice Project, which helps provide gifts for children whose families use the service. The fundraiser is part of the charity’s wider work to support local people facing challenging times and to make sure children are not left without something to open on Christmas morning.

In 2025, the Christmas Choice Project gave out hundreds of gifts and supported nearly 100 families in the Meadows area of Nottingham. The majority of the gifts given out in 2025 were solely down to the kind donations of the local community and business.

The Meadows Foodbank & Pantry serves the local community through emergency food provision and its pantry offer, working to support people experiencing food poverty and the wider pressures of the cost of living. The organisation describes its mission as building “a community where no one goes hungry”.

Supporters, local residents and anyone looking for a relaxing afternoon of live music for a good cause are encouraged to attend. Donations from those unable to make the event are also welcome.
