Nature's Rhythms at Work - a Meaning Circle (17:00 GMT/12:00 ET)
Wed 6 Mar 2024 5:00 PM - 6:00 PM GMT
Online, Zoom
Description
17:00-18:00 UK (12:00-13:00 Eastern)
What if, instead of trying to be productive all the time, we spoke of our work in the language of seasons and tides? What can we learn about organizational structures from observing the natural world? What effect do our actions—our work—have on the planet?
That’s the theme of our next Meaning Circle, a guided virtual session where we reflect on big topics related to meaningful work.
This month, with Spring on the horizon, we’re considering what lessons from the natural world we can apply to our way of working: Where do you see patterns of nature reflected in your work? What specific changes do you think are necessary, and why?
What makes a Meaning Circle different from most other meetings is that you are free to share during the reflection without commentary or debate from others. It's remarkable what we can learn about ourselves through self-reflection and listening deeply to the reflections of others. Come find out for yourself!
Join host Dale on Wednesday, March 6 at 12pm EST for a stimulating session!
ABOUT MEANING CIRCLES
Meaning Circles are virtual, one‑hour sessions where we invite you to reflect on big questions related to the world of work.
What to expect:
- A complimentary, 60-minute session via Zoom
- No prep is required, your host takes care of the format
- A judgment-free space
- To learn and be inspired by others!
At each Circle, a host provides the structure and poses the reflection question, so it’s easy to engage. With no discussion or advice-giving, Circles provide space for participants to share, listen, and reflect more deeply on powerful questions related to workplace wellbeing.
Here’s what others are saying:
“I think hearing others share caused me to look at my own experiences and find similarities and differences that illuminated something I had overlooked (maybe deliberately). It was a big surprise to me that listening to others helps them and me at the same time.” – Past participant
Meaning Circles are offered by MeaningSphere, a start-up company dedicated to meaningful work. Find out more at meaningsphere.com.
