Hern x MVUF Midsummer Feast

Hern and Meanwood Valley Urban Farm (MVUF) are excited to announce a collaborative Midsummer Feast hosted at the Market Garden at MVUF. 

Hern will be cooking a four course menu based on produce grown at Meanwood's Market Garden, with a few carefully selected additions from our usual range of amazing suppliers.

MVUF is an incredible asset in the local area, a multi-faceted charity combining community work, volunteering, an organic Market Garden (and veg box scheme) and education within an urban farm setting.

The Midsummer Feast will be hosted under the Ark (or Barn if the weather is not kind), with profits from the event going towards much needed improvements to facilities/infrastructure on the Market Garden, specifically a new roof for the Ark and rainwater capture.

Ticketing information

£50 for 4 courses (snacks, starter, main, dessert) and a welcome drink. £5 service charge included in the overall ticket price

There will be a bar on the night serving a selection of drinks from Hern's cellar.

Additional donations to Meanwood Farm are possible when booking if you are able to and would like to do so.

On the day

Arrive promptly at 6.30pm for welcome drinks and a quick tour of the Market Garden by Head Grower, Andy.

Welcome drinks will be served outside of the Potting Shed (see picture below). Call Andy on 07871963018 if you have any issues on the day.

Dinner service starts at 7pm.

Dietaries

On this occasion, we are unable to accommodate some dietary requirements. A vegetarian menu can be made available with advance notice. Please email hernrestaurant@gmail.com with any requests before booking.

Accessing Meanwood Valley Urban Farm

Parking is available on site, and we encourage you to car share or arrive by public transport / active travel methods where possible. Please do not park on Sugar Well Road.
