Join us for a very special evening with British tennis sensation Tim Henman, OBE
Tim was the first male player from the UK since Roger Taylor in the 1970s to reach the semi-finals of the Wimbledon Men’s Singles Championship. He reached six Grand Slam semi-finals and won 15 career ATP titles, including the Paris Masters in 2003. Tim was a silver medallist at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics, and reached a peak ranking of World No. 4. He finished his career on a high by leading Great Britain back into the Davis Cup World Group in his last match as a professional tennis player. Tim now gives a significant amount of time to his Foundation, The Tim Henman Foundation, supporting education and health in disadvantaged young people.
Tim joined the commentary team for the BBC with the 2008 Wimbledon Championships and has been with them ever since. He continues as the key face of British tennis.
Tim will be in conversation with TV Presenter Rosie Tapner. Having graced the front cover of Vogue at the age of 16, Rosie worked as a top international model for 10 years before turning her attention to TV presenting in the sporting sphere. Rosie now presents at key events such as the Longines Global Champions Show Jumping Tour, Royal Ascot, the Cheltenham Festival, the Epsom Derby and the Saudi Cup.
The evening is very kindly hosted by Malverleys with ticket proceeds benefitting the work of the Hampshire Medical Fund.
