Medicine Conscious Social Club opens its doors for a meaningful start. Within its realm, a seamless synthesis of celebration, art, and consciousness converge - crafting a space for a multicultural community composed of authenticity, amusement, and connection, followed by self-discovery, evolving the concept of night-life clubbing.

Love Academy bridges the presence of Awarë’s Music Journey & Leonora Carrington pantheon of subjects of enigmatic creatures, fulfilling the intimate corners of our psyches in a First Seed of Medicine.

Leonora’s artwork The Symphony Q is the binding union with Awarë. In the painting the mythological creatures participate in the creation of music - untethered by a specific religion or culture - belonging to another plane, known as the “Harmony of The Spheres”, that suggests an ordered universe constituted by magical and ineffable sounds.

A wild chorus of joy is displaced when Awarë plays through the space embedded with enigmatic creatures of the sorceress of surrealism Leonora Carrington.

At the art week of Mexico City, we commemorate a revolution of authenticity and self-expression, felt by Awarë’s Live Journey and their strings of music that surge to pull the energy up and down in an immersive environment, while reverberating through the remarkable statement of uniqueness and symbology on Leonora’s Carrington’s artwork.

Within the darkness and light that births art & music is where we meet, to witness a moment beyond an exhibition, but where art, the people and the music come to life.

TAROT

Shaped by the inspiration that Leonora Carrington has a Tarot deck with her artistry, Micaela Mendonza Hägglund upscales the experience with a profound insightful reading. Author of "Lo mágico sombrío”, a Bolivian poet, psychologist, and music therapist, Micaela will open the cards during the evening and read about the gathering that takes place. A collective reading that delivers a message from the ethereal world to all those present.

Elixirs

Medicine CSC Elixirs Bar introduces an Emotional Bar that elevates moods to a transcendent state. Through crafting herbal elixirs from roots, seeds, and flowers, we ignite a revolution in bar mixology, emphasizing quality connections. Acknowledging the negative impacts of alcoholic drinks such as chi stagnation, nervous system numbness, memory lethargy, and dehydration, at Medicine, we counteract these effects by fostering heightened cognition sensitivity and memory enhancement. Navigating with consciousness through the pleasures of taste, our goal is to pioneer a reinvented club night experience that not only delights the palate & emotions but also nurtures your soul, body & mind.   

Nevertheless, we welcome you to an alternative tasting of wines & champagne carefully selected. The chosen brands reflect a commitment to awareness and consciousness, ensuring the best experience for our discerning customers.

Artists

Leonora Carrington

British, 1917–2011

At 19, Carrington visited the first International Surrealist Exhibition in London, she was struck by the work of Max Ernst. Beginning there her journey into surrealistic endeavors.

In late 1942, Carrington moved to Mexico City, where she would remain for the rest of her life. She joined a growing community of expatriate artists, writers, and photographers there. This setting fueled her passion for the unknown, allowing her to discover cooking, healing, and mythologies that were new to her.

The Freudian idea was that the female psyche was unrestrained, mystical, and erotic. Some female artists associated with the movement, such as Carrington, were framed as the femme enfant (woman child) who served as a muse to the male artist. But as Carrington once said, “I didn’t have time to be anyone’s muse…I was too busy rebelling against my family and learning to be an artist.”

Throughout her eight-decade career, Carrington continued to explore the mystery of the world around her, claiming at the end of her life, “The only thing I know, is that I don’t know.

Their artistic expression and exploration of sound make the duo an exquisite experience of deep and emotional rhythms.

Awarë’s music serves as a powerful catalyst to step into a realm of oneness, where hearts unite and spirits soar.

Fede Díaz 

The travel through the music reveals a journey through the different places and countries where the musicians feels as home.

The nature and the elements appears in all instants of sound, then everything is possible, in a composition between the guitar, the voice and electronic blends.

• While we hold space for you, apologetically, we cannot accommodate pets within our premises.
• Access is a journey paved with two lanes one exclusively for members, the other for RSVP ticket holders. 
• Access for walk-ins (both members and newcomers) will be subject to capacity policies tailored to each event's unique circumstances. We suggest reserving in advance as this might be a sold-out event.
• If accompanied by Bodyguards we kindly request that they wait outside.
