In Sickness and in Health: A Guided Walk
Medi-Culture invites you to explore London's history of medicine, disease and healing, and reconnect with your own wellbeing along the way.
We'll uncover how monks, nuns and early hospitals shaped the city's approach to healing, learn about herbs and natural remedies, and trace the evolution of the modern hospital. We'll cross the Thames, once a source of illness, into an area now thriving with life sciences, dining and culture.
This is more than a history lesson. It's an invitation to enjoy the restorative benefits of a mindful, physical journey through the streets around you.
Please arrive at least 5 minutes before the start time, as walks begin promptly.
Your guide: Sarah Williams-Robbins (aka Mrs Londoner) is an accredited City of London guide with a background in health promotion. Her tours blend historical insight with practical wellbeing tips, encouraging you to learn, move and reflect as you go.
