Science Showoff Cures All Ills

Medi-Culture presents a night of medically-themed stand-up, stories and silliness from some of London's funniest people, hosted at London Bridge Hive, Team London Bridge's event space.

Expect jokes about brains, bad decisions, questionable life choices, and the strange ways science tries to understand our mental health. Because sometimes the best medicine isn’t found in a lab. It’s a room full of people laughing at the chaos inside our heads.

Our MC has carefully collected an incredible lineup of psychologists and people with lived experience to entertain you. Together they’ll explore everything from neuroscience to nonsense, proving that laughter might not cure all brain ills… but it certainly helps.

Your MC: Dr Steve Cross is the founder of Bright Club and Science Showoff. Cross acts as a master of ceremonies during Science Showoff events. He is a past winner of the Joshua Phillips Award for Innovation in Science Engagement. In 2007, he was the head curator of the Medicine Man gallery at the Welcome Collection.
