It is said that if we contemplate and meditate on the meaning of the diagram of the wheel of life we can gain many experiences and realisations that lead to lasting freedom and happiness. This ancient painting explains how living beings follow paths that lead to suffering but also reveals how liberation can be attained through gaining realisations of renunciation, compassion and wisdom.
"Even if we contemplate deeply the most sublime paintings and works of art we cannot gain the benefits that compare with the benefits of contemplating and meditating on the diagram of the wheel of life because this diagram reveals the complete path to liberation and enlightenment." Geshe Kelsang Gyatso.
