Merry Meeple Treksmas 2025

Please join us for our second annual MERRY MEEPLE TREKSMAS.

Merry Meeple Treksmas is a full day board gaming event. This year we are hosting the event at Weber State University's Davis Campus in Layton, Utah. We hope you will join us and take advantage of this exclusive opportunity to connect and spend quality time playing games. There will be activities and games for all levels of board gaming experience. This is a family friendly environment with space for kiddos to play games, other activities to engage in, and dedicated space for adult gaming tables. 

What makes a Meeple Treks event unique?
We are here to make your gaming experience more personal and extra enjoyable. Our event includes an open gaming library, and additional themed "treks" throughout the day. Although board gaming will be our primary activity, all other activities are designed to entertain you and create an engaging experience. Come connect with fellow gamers, sharpen your creative thinking, and display your strategic expertise.

Open Gaming & Game Library
Our game library includes over 1,600 games and expansions. However, for this event, we will curate our library to include approximately 200-300 games. For Merry Meeple Treksmas, our focus will be on winter and/or holiday-themed games along with some of the 100 games recommended on BGG. When purchasing a badge, please feel free to request a game, if you have a specific one in mind, and we will do our best to accommodate all requests.

What's the Great Green Grinch Gift Gazoogle?

Pricing/Tickets
When you purchase a ticket you are registering for access to the gaming library, open gaming space, and a spot in the Great Green Grinch Gift Gazoogle. Our prices are welcoming to individuals and families. Adult tickets (15+ years old) are $30 and may be purchased individually or combined with a child ticket (3-14 years old). Child tickets (3-14 years old) are $20 and must be accompanied by an adult participant. Children under the age of 3 are free and must be accompanied by an adult at all times (Note: No free children badges will be allowed to participate in the Great Green Grinch Gift Gazoogle).

Adult Badge (15+) = $30
Child Badge (4 - 14) = $20

Why bring children?
Playing board games builds social skills, improves executive functioning, and strengthens critical and creative thinking. In other words, there are a lot of benefits to teaching children to play. Most especially, it builds connections with others. At Meeple Treks, we emphasize positive connections and relationship building for families and friends. Play a few games with your kiddos at Merry Meeple Treksmas and enjoy games with others while your kiddos continue to play games in a supervised kids zone.
