Navigating menopause can be overwhelming—whether you're experiencing it yourself or supporting someone who is. As someone who has had first-hand experience on the many challenges the Menopause can bring, I’m excited to volunteer my time to bring a Menopause Café to Henley-on-Thames.

Why I’m Volunteering at the Henley Menopause Café.

Menopause took me by surprise—juggling a demanding career in the technology sector and a challenging home life, while navigating symptoms for which I wasn’t prepared.

The opportunity to spend time with others navigating menopause and having a space to share my experiences and learn from others has been life-changing, and that’s exactly why I’m passionate about bringing a Menopause Café to my local town.

As someone who’s spent years in a high-pressure corporate marketing role while balancing family life, I understand how challenging menopause can be. Brain fog, fatigue, panic attacks, chronic headaches, and anxiety (to name just a few symptoms!) it can make it feel impossible to keep your life on track.

Meeting others and learning some valuable personal insight into dealing with menopause – as HRT alone is not the magic answer for most. I have built myself a sustainable tool kit for myself to help me cope with most of my symptoms in a holistic way that has allowed me to turn around my health both mentally and physically.

Everyone is different, and we all need to find our own path to find what can work for us but if you’re looking for support, understanding, or simply a chance to talk, this space is for you.
