Join us for an uplifting, research-informed evening with Professor Joyce Harper (UCL) at the Leander Club, Henley-on-Thames.
Across media, social platforms and everyday conversation, perimenopause and menopause are often framed as doom and gloom. This event offers a more balanced and hopeful perspective — grounded in science, real-life experience, and practical tools.
Joyce will share clear insights into what’s happening during perimenopause and menopause, cut through common myths, and explore what helps many women thrive beyond midlife — including themes from her forthcoming book 'Your Joyful Years' based on interviews with 50+ women over 50.
Hosted by Anji Pianta, local Menopause Cafe Ambassador and menopause coach-in-training (Women of a Certain Stage), this evening will also touch on holistic foundations that support vitality and confidence in this life stage: movement/strength, nutrition, sleep, stress regulation, and community.
Timings: 7:00pm arrival | 7:30pm start
