Join us, Menstrual Health Project, for a fun filled evening of food, music, entertainment, shopping and more to raise awareness for endometriosis.

Endometriosis is a systematic inflammatory incurable condition that impacts 1 in 10 women and those assigned female at birth in the UK. It is a debilitating disease that can impact a person's most vital organs often leading to organ damage or loss. Historically, we have not spoken about conditions like endometriosis through of judgement or shame. As a charity, we work towards reducing stigma in educating people about these conditions, but also to empower others to advocate for themselves in order to access the correct care. 

We hope you can attend our event to help us raise money to help us carry on the essential work we doing in improving menstrual health education within educational and workplace settings plus fund vital endometriosis research which is being carried out by Dr Barbara Guinn and a team of researchers from University of Hull. They are developing a urine test which may help detect endometriosis (Profits from the night will be split evenly). 

We will be having an incredible buffet in the form of an Italian feast! Please ensure you let us know any dietary requirements you have for yourself or others when booking your tickets.

*TERMS & CONDITIONS*
1. Please note tickets are non-refundable once purchased. If you are unable to attend please let us know and we can donate the tickets to others if you wish. 
2. There will be a professional photographer taking photos at the event of all guests. By purchasing tickets, you are confirming you are happy photos being taken of yourself and other attendees you are bringing along. These will be used on our website and social media platforms.
3. Tickets will be checked and scanned on the night on entry, so please ensure you have purchased the right amount of tickets for the amount of people attending in your booking.

GETTING TO THE EVENT
By car
From the North
Take the A483 by-passing Wrexham towards Oswestry, the A483 merges with the A5, carry on towards Oswestry crossing a bridge into the Shropshire border. Take the third exit at the roundabout and Lion Quays Hotel is two hundred metres on the left hand side.

From the South
Take the A5 trunk road leading North to Wrexham and North Wales. By-pass Oswestry keep on the A5 until you pass a service station on the left hand side, go right around the next roundabout back along the A5. Lion Quays Hotel is two hundred metres along the A5 on the left hand side.

There is a large free car park with lots of spaces including disabled parking. At the venue, the event will be held in the Lion suite which is located on the groud floor of the building with no stairs or accessibility issues for wheelchair users. To get to it you turn off the main road into the resort, follow the road down towards the resort and go straight on at the mini roundabout towards the event suites and the Lion suite will be on the left along with parking located there too. (There is plenty of parking around the venue if the direct parking is full when you arrive).
