Supporting Your Child With Exam Stress  - for parents and carers of secondary school aged children

Brought to you by Me & My Mind, the Mental Health Support Teams working in schools in East Sussex.

Stress and anxiety is a normal reaction to having to take an exam. When it is mild to moderate, it can often improve performance but sometimes if anxiety and stress becomes too high it can have the opposite affect. This online workshop will include practical things to do at home and share with your child, as well as lots of tips and advice to help with managing exam anxiety and stress before and during exams.

About this event

This free 60-minute online workshop will cover:

  • Understanding more about exam anxiety and stress.
  • Practical things you and your child can do at home to help.
  • Information of further support and additional resources.

The session will be relaxed and informal. Bring a pen and piece paper, grab a drink and find a comfortable spot in your home to be able to join in.

Once you have placed your order, you will receive an email confirmation which will include a link to join via Microsoft Teams. (We will have someone available to help on the night if you are having trouble joining online).
