Sunday Morning Community Dip!

We're thrilled to be welcoming you to our monthly Sunday morning dip.

However you're feeling and whether you want to dip, swim, paddle or just come along to a friendly group for a chat you'll be made very welcome.

Please book a place even if you're not going in the sea.

We'll meet on the Slope beach (Seaham harbour) at 8.45am, look for a pink pirate flag! We'll have a chat about the sea/weather conditions before getting changed and heading in at approximately 9am.

You’re very welcome to participate as much or as little as you choose - some people choose to just watch for their first session. We always go out of our way to make everyone very welcome at our sessions. 

This event may be cancelled in the event of unsafe road access, sea or weather conditions. Please take extra care in the carpark (especially when icy) as there are no footpaths and it is often busy with other beach and pier users. Please take care on the metal steps leading down to the beach as they can become slippery.

By booking a place for this event you acknowledge that entering the sea involves inherent risks including, but not limited to, cold water exposure, uneven surfaces, strong waves, continued cooling, to name a few.
