BEAM PITCHING DAY - MAST Mayflower Studios [Thu 22 Oct]

BEAM is the UK’s largest showcase of new musical theatre.

BEAM is an exhilarating two-day event showcasing the most exciting new musicals in development. Co-produced by Mercury Musical Developments and Musical Theatre Network, BEAM2027 will take place on 20th & 21st May at Royal & Derngate, Northampton.

Book your slot to pitch for BEAM at MAST Mayflower Studios, Southampton, on Thursday 22nd October.

Please note:

1. Details of who is on the pitching panel will be confirmed at least one week in advance. 
2. You can only apply for one pitching slot per writing team. If you are working with multiple writing teams on different projects, each team can apply for one pitching slot.
3. Your pitch should last a maximum of ten minutes, including any set up time.
4. In the event that all pitching slots for this date are booked, please join the waiting list and we will be in touch if a slot becomes available.
5. If you'd find it more accessible to email your responses to the form on this page, please complete the 'Name' and 'Email' fields, then write 'Email' in all other boxes, and we will email you the questions in a Word doc, so you can take your time responding.

For the purpose of reporting to funders, we will ask you some questions about the identity of the key creatives pitching. By key creatives, we mean individuals on the writing team, and/or a producer or director/dramaturg who will be actively pitching the musical they're involved in developing. If you're an individual pitching without collaborators, and prefer not to declare any protected characteristics at this stage, feel free to answer 'prefer not to say'.
