Den of Wolves: New Eden

A Megagame of Survival, Politics and Paranoia

The Wolf Nation has attacked, most of humanity is gone, and what’s left is trying to escape.

You’ll be one of up to 18 players spread across six ships carrying the surviving fleet. Every ship has its own crew, resources and problems, but everyone has the same basic problem: stay alive long enough to find somewhere humanity can start over.

You’ll be moving around the room talking to other players, trading resources, exploring new systems, dealing with attacks, making decisions for your ship and trying to keep the fleet together.

There’s just one complication.

Some of the people in the fleet may secretly be working for the Wolves.

Den of Wolves: New Eden is a smaller megagame built around cooperation, negotiation, resource management and a little bit of paranoia. You won’t be sitting at one table for four hours. Different players have different jobs, and a lot of the game comes from figuring out who you need to talk to and what information you can trust.

Some players will be captains. Others will be engineers, scientists, military officers, explorers or political figures. The ships need each other, but they don’t always want the same things.

Never played a megagame before?

That’s completely fine.

This is meant to be beginner friendly. You do not need previous megagame, tabletop or roleplaying experience. We’ll explain the important parts before play starts, and Control will be there throughout the game if you need help.

Players: Up to 18
Length: About 3–4 hours
Experience needed: None

This will be the first event run by Metro NY/NJ Megagames, a new group for people interested in playing and running megagames in the New York/New Jersey area.
