A Virtual Spy Event with James Ponti, Stuart Gibbs & “Real” Spies!

You are invited to a top-secret live virtual spy panel with bestselling middle-grade authors & besties James Ponti and Stuart Gibbs, along with retired professionals from the CIA (real spies!), to celebrate the forthcoming release of the 7th book in Ponti’s beloved CITY SPIES series, EUROPA! Kids will be treated to a fascinating (and no doubt very funny) discussion of the differences between writing spies and being spies, with a chance to get all their questions answered AND a sneak peek at the forthcoming City Spies book, out February 10!

The virtual conversation will start promptly at 7pm and last 40 minutes, followed by 20 minutes of Q&A. This event is targeted at kids ages 8-14, but parents are encouraged to join the fun as well! Limit of one non-transferrable Zoom link per household. This event is co-hosted by Old Town Books and Middleburg Books. This event will be recorded.

IMPORTANT TICKET INFORMATION: Your ticket will include a Zoom link (one per household) to the Jan 28 panel AND an automatic pre-order for one hardcover copy of EUROPA, which releases February 10, along with exclusive swag and a signed book plate. You may select whether you would like to pick up the book and swag in the store on or after February 10, or pay an additional fee for it to be shipped to you on February 10.
