Lantern Making Workshop

Multiple dates and times Ings Library, HU8 0TY

Middle Child are taking over Ings for one night only – and we need your help!

On Saturday 21 November we’re hosting a community parade and walking through the theatre-named streets in the area. We’re inviting everyone to carry a lantern with us on the parade and we would love to invite you to come make one, beforehand.

This is a family-friendly craft activity, suitable for anyone aged 4+.

We have two lantern making workshops. Both are at Ings Library and are free to attend; you just need to reserve your space with a ticket. On the day, pop over to Ings Library and give your name at the desk.

Please book a ticket for each person attending the workshop, even if they’re not making a lantern. This helps us to manage numbers and make sure we have enough room for everybody. Babies don't need a ticket.

Access

The workshop space is wheelchair accessible and has a disabled toilet. Ings Library also has a sensory room. Fidget toys, ear defenders and other access tools are welcome in the space. The workshop space is not an enforced quiet space, noise is allowed. Printed workshop instructions will be provided, please email beth@middlechildtheatre.co.uk if you require coloured paper or instructions in a different language.
