Harry Manx, the "essential link" between East and West music, seamlessly blends Blues and classical Indian ragas, crafting mesmerizing musical narratives. Born on the Isle of Man and raised in Canada, Manx's musical journey led him across the globe, where he honed his craft in diverse cultural settings. Influenced by Indian music, particularly under the tutelage of Rajasthani musician Vishwa Mohan Bhatt, Manx embraced the Mohan Veena, a unique instrument merging sitar and guitar, shaping his distinctive style.
With a captivating live presence, Manx has enraptured audiences worldwide, blending Eastern and Western sounds on stage. His performances create a dynamic journey, oscillating between the introspective depth of Indian melodies and the exuberance of American blues, engaging listeners on profound and celebratory levels. As a prolific artist, Manx has released numerous albums, earning accolades including Maple Blues Awards and Juno nominations.
Manx's music, characterized by its "mysticssippi" flavor, intertwines Indian folk, slide guitar blues, gospel, and irresistible rhythms, leaving audiences spellbound and craving more.
