Harvest Heroes! A D&D Story for Young Adventurers
Share this event
A hilarious tabletop adventure game full of fun for children between 7 and 12.
As the harvest is gathered and the nights grow longer, the veil between worlds grows thin. A group of thieving creatures from the Otherworld have set their sights on the season's bounty, which is supposed to last throughout the cold winter until spring.
Young adventurers are needed to save the harvest and defeat the creatures of the otherworld.
The young heroes must search for clues, gather food, defend their fields, set clever traps, and work together to protect the harvest.
Children are invited to paint their own miniature hero before setting out on a tabletop adventure inspired by Irish folklore, harvest traditions, and the stories of Samhain.
No experience with painting or tabletop roleplaying games is necessary. All materials are provided, and beginners are warmly welcomed.
Organised by the Midlands Adventurers Guild in association with Longford Library, the Home of Halloween Initiative and both Longford and Westmeath Tourism Offices.
Open to children between the ages of 7 and 12.
