Mid-Summer Moon Productions presents Matilda the Musical

Matilda the Musical is a remarkable masterpiece from the Royal Shakespeare Company that tells the inspiring story of Matilda Wormwood, a brilliant young girl with extraordinary powers. Ignored and mistreated by her parents, Matilda turns to her teacher, Miss Honey, for friendship and solace. However, school life is anything but peaceful with the rigid Miss Trunchbull as headmistress, and Matilda bravely stands up for herself and her classmates because “sometimes you have to be a little bit naughty.”

Based on Roald Dahl’s beloved children’s novel, this musical adaptation features an outstanding book by Dennis Kelly and an unforgettable score by Tim Minchin with rousing songs such as “Revolting Children” and “Naughty.”

Tickets are $12 for Adults and $10 for children 12 and under.

Immediately following the Saturday matinee, there will be a talkback with the cast and an opportunity to explore the magic that happens backstage.
