Built by one of MM's early board members, this home was so thoughtfully designed for music that even the Steinway piano has its own designated space. Such surpassing detail is just a taste of the many delights, which include a breath-taking view across Green Bay from this heavenly perch.
Dvorak and Brahms – two great 19th Century composers who both gave us splendid piano quintets. However, the Dvorak Quintet is one you may not have heard before. He was 31 when he wrote it, but then decided to revise it in 1887 at the height of his career. Unfortunately, this version was not heard until 1922, 18 years after Dvorak’s death. Here is a chance to savor this rare masterpiece coupled with one of Brahms’ best chamber works in the talented hands of pianist Jeannie Yu, in collaboration with violinist David Perry and his fellow string players.
