Join us for our first ever screening at our new home in Plaza, Camden!
Since it's Halloween season, we'll be presenting David Cronenberg's sci-fi horror classic VIDEODROME (1983) in glorious 4K!
Description: As the president of a trashy TV channel, Max Renn is desperate for new programming to attract viewers. When he happens upon “Videodrome,” a TV show dedicated to gratuitous torture and punishment, Max sees a potential hit and broadcasts the show on his channel. However, after his girlfriend auditions for the show and never returns, Max investigates the truth behind Videodrome and discovers that the graphic violence may not be as fake as he thought.
Beforehand, though, we're delighted to warm you up with an electric screening of a movie often regarded as the greatest concert film of all time: STOP MAKING SENSE (1984). The film shows a world-class performance from legendary band Talking Heads at the Hollywood Pantages Theatre, including songs like Once in a Lifetime, and Psycho Killer.
