6-WEEK GROUP MINDFULNESS TRAINING COURSE STARTS TUESDAY 15 JUNE 2021, 7pm -8 30pm
Train your mind, transform your life.
Did you know that the relationship to your mind is the most important relationship you have?
Mindfulness is an ancient and profound method of mind-training, backed by cutting edge neuroscience, which allows us to build a powerful internal skillset to help us thrive in every moment, regardless of circumstances.
This 6-week group Mindfulness Course is based on my own experience of over 20 years of Meditation and self-exploration and is aimed at anyone interested in transforming their relationship to the mind, body and emotions.
Each group session is 90 minutes after which you'll receive a handout with guided practices to explore in your own time. You will be emailed the course pack upon payment.
Dates: Every Tuesday from 15 June -20 July
Time: 7pm – 8.30pm
Price: £150.00 (Includes course pack and handouts with links to guided practices)

Here is an overview of the course:
Week 1: Living in the Present Moment
Real life is always now. Introducing the ancient roots and modern science of Mindfulness and discovering how shifting our attention away from our thoughts, and into our present moment experience, can transform the way we live.
Week 2: Being with the Mind
What if we just allow thoughts to come and go like clouds passing through the sky? Exploring our relationship to the mind and introducing the noting and labelling technique to cultivate metacognitive awareness which opens a gap between ourselves and our mental content.
Week 3: Being with the Body
By discovering how to turn our attention towards our physical sensations we can discover a depth of well-being, sensitivity and aliveness, free from the mental chatter which often clouds it. Introducing the body-scan practice as a way to find deep physical stillness, work with difficult emotions and sleep better.
Week 4: Cultivating Compassion
Cultivating compassion is vital for peace of mind and a valuable skill for navigating difficult emotions, experiences and relationships. Introducing the Loving Kindness practice as a way to actively generate positivity, friendliness and interconnection with those around us.
Week 5: Life is Movement
Have you noticed that everything is changing? Recognising that our moment to moment experience is characterised by flow, change and impermanence can be an extremely freeing insight, as it shows us that nothing gets stuck. Exploring the value of the body-sweep meditation to experience ourselves as an intelligent, living process.
Week 6: Mindfulness in Action
Meditation isn't just something we do sitting still on a cushion, it's how we relate to all those moments off the cushion that really count. Exploring the See-Hear-Feel practice as way to integrate our Mindfulness skills into our daily activities and exploring ways to enhance our lives beyond the course
