Jake Sherman Trio Summer Residency - Weekly Wednesday jazz club with a Hammond organ

Join us for the launch of a special summer residency from acclaimed New York jazz organist Jake Sherman, featuring a Hammond organ specially relocated for the season.

Recently arrived in Walthamstow, Jake brings together a world-class trio featuring London guitar legend Artie Zaitz for an evening of groovy soul-jazz, joyful swing and soulful vocals. Expect deep grooves, exceptional musicianship and a welcoming atmosphere inspired by the great neighbourhood jazz clubs.

Jake is a two-time Grammy Award winner whose career has included performances and recordings with Meshell Ndegeocello, Rosalía, Chance the Rapper, Bilal, Andrew Bird and Nick Hakim.

The residency opens with a special launch performance on Thursday 25th June and Friday 10th July, before returning as a weekly Wednesday night residency from 22nd July through to September 2nd. With guest musicians dropping in throughout the summer and a growing community of regulars, this promises to become one of East London's essential midweek music nights.
