DISCO FREAKS RETURN TO THE MILDMAY!

Since 2013 Disco Freaks - a vinyl DJ duo, party, radio show & record label -

have delivered the grooves to dance floors all around the UK and beyond.

Over the last 13 years they’ve expanded from London to international shows in

New York, Italy, Australia, Scandinavia, Croatia and Spain plus regular festivals

appearances including a Glastonbury residence since 2016 & Bestival. They’ve

played alongside Roy Ayers, John Morales, Change, Natasha Diggs & Marcellus

Pittman, at iconic venues such as Fabric, Jazz Cafe, Es Paradis Ibiza & Ministry

Of Sound plus on line-ups for Defected, Disco Disco & Glitterbox.

On Hoxton Radio and The Face Radio Brooklyn they’ve interviewed some of the

biggest names in disco over the last decade including Kathy Sledge, Nile

Rodgers & Chic, Leee John, The Fatback Band, L’Imperatrice, Charles Bradley,

Adi Oasis and Joel Culpepper. Their remixes and edits can be heard on Acid Jazz Records and in 2021 they

started their own label, Disco Freaks Recordings. Through this they’ve released

sell-out records that have featured members of Nile Rodgers & Chic, Al ‘Million

Dollar Disco’ Kent & John Morales and have been supported by Dua Lipa, The

Reflex, Dave Lee, BBC 6Music’s Craig Charles & Coleen ‘Cosmo’ Murphy

They play records across the disco, funk & soul world & into boogie and house

if the mood fits.
