You're Invited To Our First Ever Event!

After months of stories, investigations, and plenty of behind-the-scenes work, we’re stepping out from behind the headlines and into real life — and we’d love for you to join us.

On Thursday 10th July, we’re hosting our very first in-person event at Venue at Civic House, starting from 6pm.

It’s a chance to grab a drink, meet the team, and connect with others who care about local journalism. At 7pm, we’ll be joined by our brilliant journalists Robbie Armstrong and Calum Grewar for an informal conversation about the stories they’ve been chasing, what’s shaping their reporting right now, and what they’re hoping to explore next. There’ll be time for questions, discussion, and plenty of chat.

We’ll also have nibbles from Parveen’s, a much-loved part of the Civic House food community. Parveen’s will soon be moving on in search of a new home, so this is one of the last chances to enjoy their amazing food in this space — don’t miss it!

Whether you’re curious about how we work, want to share your ideas, or just fancy meeting some like-minded people, this is the perfect opportunity. It’s also a great way to show your support for independent local media.
