For the finale of our golden anniversary, we have invited the spectacular Telegraph Quartet, and a group of chamber music students from San Francisco Conservatory of Music. The students will be chosen from the best in the chamber music class. We deem this an opportunity to expressly show our support for chamber music education with the exuberant Mendelssohn Octet in Eb, a masterpiece written when he was only 16!
"Soulfulness, tonal beauty and intelligent attention to detail … an incredibly valuable addition to the cultural landscape." – San Francisco Chronicle "
