"From Ranch to Town" Mill Valley 1889-1910

Join a guided tour to learn how Mill Valley went from a privately owned ranch to an incorporated town in 1900.  Hear about the people who made it all happen, the surveying and building of the first roads, the water supply, the influence of saloon owners, the newspaper wars, the vote for incorporation, the effect of the great San Francisco earthquake and fire, and more.  Guided tour will last approximately 90 minutes.

Tours start at the Mill Valley Chamber of Commerce office on Throckmorton Avenue. Tour start times are every 30 minutes between 9:00 am and 2:00 pm.
