"From Ranch to Town" Mill Valley 1889-1910

Sunday, May 25 • TWO special tours for children and their families are available at 9:45am and 12:45pm.

Join a special version of our guided tour geared toward elementary school aged children.  Learn about how Mill Valley went from a privately owned ranch to an incorporated town in 1900. Hear about the people who made it all happen, the surveying and building of the first roads, the water supply, the influence of saloon owners, the newspaper wars, the vote for incorporation, the effect of the great San Francisco earthquake and fire, and more.  Youth tour will last approximately 60 minutes.

Children must be accompanied by an adult.
