Milton Keynes Literary Festival is working over the next three years to create a unique audio-visual map of the city that documents in words, sound and images the relationships that the city's people have with places within it: a house, a school, an office; a park, a street, a tree...

We'll be organising community events with professional practitioner-faciltators to encourage people to put pen to paper (or finger to keyboard). There'll be online masterclasses with poets, short story writers and non-fiction authors to inspire and guide people to write better - or simply to write at all. And we'll be welcoming contributions from the general population too.

Over time, we'll be creating a visual map of the city, where every marked location is someone's story - and you'll be able to read and hear it! And there'll be SoundWalks, taking you on trips through a neighbourhood where a cluster of stories weave a rich fabric of human experience and emotion.

Every donation - individual or organisational - will help to support this ambitious project, which we hope will culminate in time for the city's 60th birthday celebrations in 2027. And we've set an option for you to Gift Aid your donation too.

Thank you in advance for your help and support.
