Join Matty Long – the illustrator and author of the Croaky series - for a fun and interactive drawing workshop! You'll discover how to draw characters from the books step-by-step.

After learning the tips and tricks of inventing a hero capable of great adventures, you'll then get to design your own and see how creating a character can be the first step to telling all sorts of exciting stories. 

All children must be accompanied by an adult.

Matty Long is the award-winning create of the Super Happy Magic Forest collection of picture books and young fiction, along with Croaky, Turbo Bunnies, Who Ate All the Bugs?, and Who Rules the Rockpool? Based in Cambridgeshire, Matty has a first class degree in illustration and an MA in Children’s Book Illustration.

About MK Lit Fest

Milton Keynes Literary Festival (MK Lit Fest) began in 2017, since when over 250 authors - ranging from international bestsellers to debut novelists, and including all kinds of fiction and non-fiction - have appeared at our in-person and online events.
