Untangling Anxiety: A Virtual Weekly Drop-In Class on Thursdays from 12-1pm all Semester!
Registering for any one of the sessions gives you access to all of them!
Untangling Anxiety is a weekly opportunity to pause, take a breath, and learn practical mindfulness tools for working more skillfully with anxiety, stress, and overwhelm.
You're welcome to attend every week to build a regular mindfulness practice, or simply drop in whenever you'd like some time to slow down, reconnect, and unwind. Because each session stands on its own, it's easy to join whenever your schedule allows or whenever you could use a mindful reset.
Throughout the semester, our practices and discussions will gently follow the rhythm of campus life, offering timely support during periods of increased stress, including midterms, finals, and other common challenges of student life.
What to expect each week:
- Guided Meditation: Brief practices to help lower stress, cultivate presence, and foster well-being.
- Mindful Movement: Gentle, accessible movement practices to help settle and connect the mind and body.
- Practical Insights: Weekly topics inspired by the natural flow of the semester, exploring habits such as smartphone overuse, procrastination, stress eating, and other common patterns that contribute to anxiety and overwhelm, while cultivating mindfulness, self-awareness, and self-regulation.
Whether you come once, occasionally, or every week, you'll find a welcoming community and practical tools to support your well-being.
Please note: This is a skill-building class designed to support learning and personal well-being. It focuses on mindfulness practices and is not a substitute for clinical mental health therapy or medical treatment.
