Would you like to learn how to meditate or refresh and expand an existing practice? This is the class for you! We will meet virtually for five weekly sessions on Mondays from 5:00–6:00pm, October 19th - November 16th

Mindfulness Lab 1 is the foundational class for learning (or re-learning) the essentials of mindfulness meditation. This 5-week series includes teachings by the instructor, periods of guided meditation, and opportunities for sharing in a warm, supportive environment. It is designed for those who would like to begin a mindfulness practice, refresh an existing practice, or are seeking more training in the basics of mindfulness. Topics include:

  • An overview of mindfulness
  • Mindfulness of the body
  • Working with anxiety and difficult thoughts and emotions
  • Cultivating positive emotions
  • Obstacles to mindfulness
  • Bringing mindfulness into daily life
