In Person on Tuesdays from 10:00–10:45am at the University Religious Center
What happens when caring for the land also becomes a way of caring for ourselves?
Join us each week for a grounding, heart-opening mindfulness-in-action practice rooted in stewardship, community care, and connection to the living world. Together, we’ll tend to the gardens and outdoor spaces of the University Religious Center... watering, planting, sweeping, pruning, weeding, and gently caring for the spaces that care for so many of us in return. No gardening experience is necessary! Come as you are.
This weekly gathering offers an opportunity to:
- spend time outdoors
- meet new people in a welcoming environment
- contribute to a shared community space
- cultivate calm, grounding, and restoration through hands-on care
- enjoy coffee and pastries afterwards
Wear clothes that you won't mind getting a little dirty. Afterward, you are warmly invited to stay for ORSL’s weekly coffee hour with coffee, pastries, and community.
Hosted by Dr. Robin Mitchell Stroud, Director of Student Engagement Programs at the URC
