Mindful Self-Compassion 8-Week Full Course | Virtual

Mon Sep 28, 2026 5:00 PM - 8:30 PM PDT Online, Zoom

Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC) is an 8-week, evidence-based program designed to help you respond to life's challenges with greater kindness, resilience, and emotional well-being. Through guided meditation, experiential exercises, reflective practices, and supportive group discussion, you'll learn practical skills to care for yourself during times of stress, self-doubt, and emotional difficulty. Each session is 2 1/2 hours on the following days:

  • Monday, September 28th 5:30-8:00 PM PT
  • Monday, October 5th 5:30-8:00 PM PT
  • Monday, October 12th 5:30-8:00 PM PT
  • Monday, October 19th 5:30-8:00 PM PT
  • Monday, October 26th 5:30-8:00 PM PT
  • Monday, November 2nd 5:30-8:00 PM PT
  • Monday, November 9th 5:30-8:00 PM PT
  • Monday, November 16th 5:30-8:00 PM PT

Please note: Registration for this course will remain open until the second class in the series.

Our intention in this course is to move self-compassion from a concept to a living reality in your life, providing felt-sense experiences of self-compassion as well as a variety of tools and skills to help you learn to show up as a good friend to yourself, especially in the midst of a challenge. While MSC includes conceptual learning, the program is primarily experiential rather than lecture-based, emphasizing practices that can be integrated into daily life. Each session builds on the previous one, fostering connection and community while introducing more than 25 evidence-based practices.

Research has found that practicing Mindful Self-Compassion can help:

  • Reduce stress, anxiety, and symptoms of depression
  • Build resilience and emotional well-being
  • Develop healthier responses to difficult emotions
  • Improve relationship satisfaction
  • Increase motivation for healthy habits such as exercise and self-care
  • Cultivate greater self-acceptance and overall life satisfaction

MSC strengthens the emotional resources needed to navigate life's inevitable challenges with greater courage, understanding, and compassion. While mindfulness is the foundation of MSC, the program places special emphasis on cultivating warmth, kindness, and compassion toward ourselves.

Please join us on Monday evenings this fall to practice mindfulness and self-compassion together!
