Ken Kilian's Classic Big Band Holiday Show

Come celebrate the holiday season with the Ken Kilian Classic Big Band. For more than 30 years, the band has been bringing the timeless sounds of big band, jazz, and swing music to audiences throughout Southwest Wisconsin and the surrounding area. Now, for the second year in a row, they will help us bring in the festive season at the Opera House. Founded and led by saxophonist Ken Kilian, the band grew from a group of talented local musicians who shared a passion for the classic sounds of Glenn Miller, Count Basie, Duke Ellington, Woody Herman, and Benny Goodman. Prepare for some of those iconic tunes along with an extra helping of just for the holidays special treats.

The Ken Kilian Classic Big Band remains committed to keeping big band and swing music alive for audiences of all generations. Whether performing a familiar favorite, providing music for a formal dance, or entertaining a community crowd, the band combines professional musicianship with the infectious spirit of the classic big band era. With decades of experience and a deep connection to the community, the Ken Kilian Band continues to prove that great live music never goes out of style.
