Minima Paddle on the Grand Union Canal, Saturday 25th of July, from near Tring Station. HP23 5QU

For those coming from the dinghy park, meet at the dinghy park at 7.30am to leave by 8am and drive to Tring and arrive around 9.15am, parking at the Station Road end of Beggars Lane, HP23 5QU. An alternative is to take the train to Tring station and walk the short distance to the parking.

We will be paddling north west up to Bulbourne and then along the Wendover Arm as far as navigable before returning and paddling the other way down to Cow Roast and back again. In total a 7 1/2 mile paddle with zero locks.

This section of canal has very little flow with a tow path throughout.
