This one day event will bring together educators, activists, politicians, business leaders, governors, parents and charities from across the education spectrum. Through critical discussion we will explore the role of educators in organising for a just transition. The event will culminate with the release of a co-created statement to share the learnings and outcomes of the day.

What is the focus for the day?
- To support and upskill educators for a just transition
- To inspire climate action
- To foster a community of educators taking action
- To share best practice and stories of success
- To co-create a statement of learnings and outcomes
- To celebrate links with educators from the global south
Who is the event for? Educators and activists from any age range or subject area, from early years to university level, with an interest in climate, nature, sustainability and justice.
What are the timings?

- What’s stopping education from adapting to the world we’re in?
- Do we need more food, farming and sustainability education?
- How do we bring communities together to empower action?
- How can we ensure Clean Air for all?
- How do we counter mis & dis information and the far right?
- Is climate change a working class issue?
- What does Building International Solidarity among educators look like?
- What does Greener Workplace Bargaining look like?
- Will citizenship education and lowering the voting age solve our problems?
- How can we develop Nature Connectedness?
- How can a strong youth lobby support the greening of education?
- How should education respond to AI?
- How can we teach difficult climate truths without overwhelming ourselves or our students?
- What should the role of sustainability leads and green reps really be?
- How can we stop greenwashing in education?
- How do we educate for green careers and skills?
- Can we adapt to extreme weather events?

- Fully wheelchair-accessible venue with step-free entry
- Sober event — no alcohol or drugs
- Quiet, low-sensory space available throughout
- Earplugs and stim tools welcome
- Volunteers available to greet and support anyone arriving alone or needing extra help settling in
