• Grass Seating (only available if GA sells out. See Below) — $32 + ($0.25 Booking Fee & $1.24 processing fee)
  • Grass seats will only become available if General Admission tickets sell out. Grass/standing room tickets limit the ticket holder to the marked areas of lawn seating and the paved plaza at the top of the amphitheater seating bank. Grass tickets do not provide the ticket holder with a physical seat. Blankets are permitted in grass seating areas, but lawn chairs or other portable seating is prohibited.

ABOUT THE ARTISTS

Rumours was formed in Los Angeles, CA, the Summer of 2012. Since then, they have traveled all of North America and meticulously put together a show that spares no detail, recreating the band's legendary persona in all its youthful glory from 1975-1987. From period-accurate equipment and costumes to spot-on characterizations and musical performances, Rumours takes you back to a time when music was still an unbridled cultural experience and bands weren't afraid to put on a show. Mae Simpson leads with her powerful vocals and magnetic stage presence, bringing the audience to their feet with driving horns and drums. The Minneapolis-based singer songwriter weaves elements of funk, soul, pop, rock, and country into her sound. Mae and her bandmates leave it all on the stage. Their high-energy show creates a powerful connection with the audience. Hailing originally from South Carolina, Mae has been passionate about singing and creating music for as long as she can remember. Her broad and soulful voice and deep well of creative energy are complemented by the musicianship and passion of the band. The band has released two EPs, Feel It Comin’ in 2018 and Did You Make it Back in 2020. Mae released their debut album Chandelier & Bloom in September 2023. 

“Her raspy, dynamic voice is larger than life,” said Helen Teague of Minnesota Public Radio, “but not as large as her uncontainable energy that radiates from the stage.”

Simpson has opened for acts including Dermot Kennedy, Grace Potter, Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe, Robert Clay, Ike Reilly, Langhorn Slim, RubbleBucket, and Pert Near Sandstone. She has performed multiple times on the iconic First Avenue main room, The Fillmore in Minneapolis, the Basilica Block Party, Live On King Street in Madison, Wisconsin, and the Blue Ox Music Festival. If you are a fan of artists like Alabama Shakes, Lake Street Dive and Bruce Springsteen, Mae Simpson is right up your alley.

1. No Cancellations: All ticket sales are final and cannot be canceled, refunded, or exchanged unless the event is canceled entirely by the Minnesota Discovery Center (MDC).
2. Event Cancellation: In the unlikely event that the concert is canceled by MDC, you will be entitled to a full refund of the ticket price. Refunds will be issued using the same method of payment used for the original purchase.
3. Postponement: If the concert is postponed to a later date, your ticket will be valid for the rescheduled date. If you are unable to attend the rescheduled event, you may be eligible for a refund, subject to our discretion.
4. Refund Procedure: To request a refund for a canceled event, please contact ashley@mndiscoverycenter.org. Refund requests must be submitted within 30 days of the cancellation announcement.
5. Ticket Transfer: Tickets are transferable to another person for no additional fee. To transfer tickets, please contact ashley@mndiscoverycenter.org with original ticket details. If you transfer your ticket to another individual, please ensure they have a copy of the updated ticket at the event entrance.
6. Policy Updates: This policy is subject to change without notice. Updates will be listed on the event page.
