Experience an unforgettable evening on the turquoise waters of Glen Mine Pit Lake. Join Gary Kaunonen, MDC’s Education, Program, and Recreation Manager and Staff Historical Archaeologist, for a guided paddle before relaxing with drinks, a build-your-own charcuterie board, and, weather permitting, a lakeside bonfire.

Your registration includes:
✔ Kayak and life jacket rental
✔ Guided one-hour paddle and shuttle transportation
✔ Beer, wine, seltzers, and charcuterie snacks (two drink max)

Please bring:
• Valid photo ID
• Optional: your own life jacket

Important Information:
• Outside alcohol is not permitted.
• Participants must use MDC kayaks; personal watercraft cannot be accommodated.
• Non-alcoholic options will be available when possible.
• Please notify us in advance of any gluten-free dietary needs.
• Please bring layers of clothing and note that the red dirt does stain. 
• Wear appropriate footwear that you don't mind getting wet or red.
